Wow up for your consideration and review is one very rare 1963 Acadian Beaumont 2 door hardtop, built only in Canada by the Pontiac Motor Division. This car is in exceptional condition thru out with never any signs of rust. This vehicle has only traveled 52,219 miles to date and has always been garage stored and summer driven to the best of our knowledge. The car was owned by an elderly gentleman until it was sold to the man that restored it to its former glory by completely disassembling it repainting wet sanding and polishing it, then reassembly the was no rust work or damage to the car at this point. he also rebuilt the engine to original specs, and replaced the carpet with original type carpet. Nothing else has been changed or altered every thing is completely stock and original as it was on the day it was built. The paint is impeccable and is in outstanding condition with out an damage or imperfections other than maybe a stone chip or two. The interior is outstanding also looking just as it did when it was new. Everything is as it was when new. Moulding and trim hub caps are as almost prefect. The best I can say is this car is very very nice, rare example of an Canadian built Pontiac for only Canadian Market place. This car would be at home in an collection especially an Pontiac collection.

About the car has an excellent running 194 cu.in. inline 6cyl (optional engine) Standard which was 4 cyl. it has power steering, power brakes, radio, 2 door hardtop, deluxe interior, this car is complete and original in every way. It has always been treated to indoor storage and it shows.
If I haven't said this before this car drives just like it would have when it was brand new in 1963 but better

That is the same car. I know that for sure because I did that car. The seller really isn't exaggerating on his description.

I wish I would've bought this car from TC.  It even matches the color combo of my 62 wagon.  If I remember correctly, the 2 dr hardtop was only available in the top trim level (Beaumont) and therefore came with the 6 cyl motor (194 ci).  In order to purchase the Invader trim level, the car needed to be a sedan or wagon.  The Invader should have been standard with the 4 cyl (153 ci) motor.

I like this car a lot but has anyone noticed that the mileage in the old thread (Feb 2010) was quoted by TC as 53400 original miles. It is now advertised as 52493 original miles. That means that the dealer that has it now is selling it with 1000 miles less on it than when it was bought?? Am I wrong with this math?

No   thats correct    we run on the right side of the road and with the directional pull of the Earth our speedos remove mileage    Its a Canada thing   maybe its the Metric effect

The 153 four was base on all series of the Acadian & Canadian-built Chevy II in 1962 & 63. After that the 153 was base only in the Acadian Invader and Chevy II 100 sedans for 1964 65. The four cylinder was dropped from Canada after 1965 but continued on stripped Chevy II 100 and later the base Novas through 1970 in the U.S.

The 153 is a 4-cylinder version of the 230 six, which is a big bore version of the 194 inline six. The fours were rough running while the sixes were smooth.
