Just thought I would share a book I picked up a month or so ago.I have seen a few around on ebay but they have always been really expensive.Anyways ran across this one all the way from London, england if you can believe and picked it up quite reasonable. It is the book that would have sat on the dealership table in 1954.It covers all the models, options, etc. It is full of fabric samples and patterns for the different models, also color swatch pages fpr the colors available. It also has a bunch of lay over pages with cutaways of the engine, body, transmission etc.Just kind of a neat find to have for my 54 Pontiac.I also found a set of fold up binoculars that were a dealership giveaway in 1954,they come in a little case with the Pontiac logo on the box and on the binoculars as well.Made in Japan,at the time.A Still in the gm box with the instructions, ran across them at a local antique mall.A few more toys for the collection.
Nice find! This is the first time I've been on in a while. Busy busy.
im out in your neck of the woods for the week. I'll be jumping between Calgary and Edmonton through this week, then back to Manitoba on Saturday or Sunday.
