Very nice looking ride, chrome looks awesome, paint looks solid, interior is nice, but its kind of a resto custom of sort. wrong wheels, cracked dash, wrong engine paint, crapy air cleaner, Not showing the steering wheel is the same as saying it is all cracked up on these, hood tach that does not belong and a few personal touches that are off. Don't get me wrong, i would drive the wheels off that thing and it would put a smile on my face doing so but the price tag looks off?

wrong wheels,  (easy fix)

cracked dash,   (easy fix)

wrong engine paint,  (easy fix)

crapy air cleaner,   (easy fix)

Not showing the steering wheel is the same as saying it is all cracked up on these,  MAYBE    most old cars especially in U.S. fatten up the wheel for better driving

hood tach that does not belong and a few personal touches that are off.

Don't get me wrong, i would drive the wheels off that thing and it would put a smile on my face doing so but the price tag looks off?

Are you saying that the $24,000 price tag is in line? I agree, it's a very very cool ride and I would love to own it. But there is at least $3000 that needs to be added for the dash, steering wheel, wheels and so on. Maybe the market is better there?

I love the big old boat biggrin

I have a opinion on price,  but I don't want to express it  until the Kijiji ad is over.....

but the price is hard to comment on...    With members of "all income" groups here   you will get  2-100 different opinions

To some 24 grand plus 3-4 to make it correct, or not,  is chump change......

To others, its 2-3 times more than, we can afford

When some say, its too expensive, sometime that means  too expensive to them

The car has much going for it

and (price) money is and always will be, a matter of opinion...

When you post a car for sale anywhere in the world on a paid for or free listing

you have to be prepared for opinions expressed

Thats the way it is

If a seller can't handle that

then park it on the front lawn and suffer the opinions face to face

have a nice day  Its raining here again

Agree, it's worth what someone will pay and the 65-66 full size Pontiacs to me are the best looking ones of all.

It's sunny and I'm going to a beer expo at noon and 2 swap meets tomorrow...........it is a great day!!

Always had a soft spot for 65's, we had a Laurentian and Custom Sport in the family. As 63gpman said these are among the finest looking Pontiacs ever built with the iconic coke bottle and Pontiac look.Black paint and chrome is a hard combination to beat and the Rally II wheels look awesome on that car. Hood tachs were actually a Grand Prix option but not until later.  Who said collecting and restoring cars was a cheap past time? I'd still rather own a nice Canadian model car though, Black with red guts and a 409.
