I offered up my 66 GP 396 4 speed last fall and Mike never replied. I thought it was a great deal, especially when I look at what it will cost to buy a $5,000 car and do a 454 conversion on it.
But, distance becomes an issue, and as well, not everyone likes the 66 GP. You love 'em or you hate 'em!
*With all due respect the 66 GP's are "too fast" and scary" for a young fellow especially with a Big Block
He needs late model muscle (like mine) (I'm trying to make a sale here! )

Agreed - your Camaro for $8000 is a far better value for him than this car to pull/convert engine
Just buy my LS1 2000 Camaro conv and be done with it runs high 10's at the drags 0-60 in 3.5 seconds 27 mpg and the top goes down for 1/2 of what a old stinky 60's dog
