Apparently we hung it from the ceiling first...lol. All that so we can replace the rad support bushings.

Wow! You got ambitious  Hopefully no paint chips or scratches. Should be easy to get at those 2+2 Louvers now. Are you working in your little garage. Must be tight.

Well,

Unfortunately we had to go stateside to get the bushings, but hope to have them in a few days. Went walking through our local bone yard today looking for some possible replacement hood hinges.. looking like I may just get springs and replace the existing ones..

I had my 67 Impala hinges rebuilt by   http://www.sms-auto.com/

Send them your old ones and they come back like new with correct rivets etc. 

The did a very nice job and when I got them I had them painted with Por15

 

Good turn around time.


Very satisfied.

The only issue with that is I still want to be able to drive the car! Although AB is redneck, they still require us to have a hood on the car....
