67 canso bench seat

photo 1.JPGphoto 2.JPGphoto 3.JPGphoto 4.JPG

Hey guys, I have a little dilemma here and am looking for some opinions.

I have my original 67 canso bench seat and its in really good shape I feel considering,

I just picked up a newly re-upholstered bench out of a 67 nova for a wicked deal (pretty sure it's not stock), but I'm now having second thoughts.

Do you guys think I should keep the original and get it redone in the future, or go with the new one I picked up. The tracks don't line up perfect on the new one so I would have to modify a bit.

Thanks in advance, I'm pretty torn not sure what I'm going to do.

Alex

What happens to your rear seat  if you use the Nova seat?.....mismatch?

For me your original redone (along with the rear) would be the way to go.....(just an opinion)

Is the armrest seat the same width?

I am guessing it's from a 66-67 Cutlass/Lemans/Skylark, something like that. Cool seat to put in a Canso if you can make it work.

You're saying the armrest seat is a Nova seat?

Hey guys yea I would modify the tracks an inch or so to fit. The seat itself is almost exact same dimensions just tracks are off. Yes If I kept the nova seat I would get the back done to match. I think I'm leaning towards doing that. I'll post the original seat in here first when I decide! Alex
