Yet Another 62 Parisienne Question

Anyone know if the chrome trim pieces that sit on the top of the front fenders are the same as a Catalina?

Hi Dave, When I purchased my 62 Parisienne, something didn't look right about my front fender spears. I googled images for 62 Pontiac Parisienne and then images for 62 Catalina and Bonneville. Sure enough the American spears are about 2 inches longer although the mounting holes are the same. I since found a good pair of Canadian spears and have them installed. I contacted the previous owner and he said that they were on the car when he first got it.

Thanks for responding. I won't try to pass them off as Catalina parts !!  These cars look so similar, but they're so far apart.

Yes, you are so right, however I was astounded that the mounting studs and holes were exactly the same. I was sure I would be drilling new holes in my fenders.
