73817 cars

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has an idea how many real 67' Sport Deluxe cars still exist from the original 451?  Any guesses or is there anyway to know?

Cheers,

I quickly counted 43 in our registry. That is approaching 10% of production which is a typical survivor rate.

I know of at least 4 more who are not members. One is a 67 bench seat convertible owned by the same family since 68 or 69.

Just a reminder that the registry is a compilation of all cars spotted recorded and reported, it is not only member's cars. Some of those cars could even be lying in salvage yards. I still think that experience shows a survival rate in the range of 10% on a desirable model like an SD is a fairly good representation.

Hello 67BBSD,

Just bought this car, from the US. Haven't received it yet. Can't wait to get it here.

Maybe I can pm you sometime after I get it in my garage?

Cheers,

no, it came to Ontario via Winterpeg, I sold it to Ohio, it made it to Kentucky then east I believe - I had it 7 years - truly enjoyed it (only car I was ever truly sorry I sold)

The one David had was light blue originally white with a bench seat and then the red convertible that I shoulda/coulda/woulda

Coming from Pennsylvania now.  Been registered in states since 2001.  Such Providence or is that the word?  Seems most owners speak well of car, least the last two that I talked to.

yes, 2001 is correct - I sold it at the Pittsburg Parts O Rama in P.A. and delivered it to Cleveland Ohio, it then went to a dealer that painted it and added those wheels, a member from Kentucky bought it sold it last fall or this spring to Penn state again
