Hello from Burnaby, BC

Hi all; really enjoy this board, I bought my first Canadian Pontiac a few months ago from the estate of the original New Westminster owner. It's a 1962 Parisienne 4 dr sedan, 283 V8, 3 on the tree with clock and radio.

The car spent most of the last 25 years or so in a covered car port in New West; I ended up driving it home a few months ago on really bad tires in bad winter weather, (shocked when they were pulled off for replacement later-biggrin

I did some work to get it road-worthy again, and it was worth it. Really have enjoyed driving this car the past few months; here's some pics.

Thanks Mike, really nice 2 dr h/t you have there and it must burn-up the road with that 427!
I forgot to mention that my Parisienne has only 95,000 original miles on it; due to the long-term storage; after changing all the fluids and the other work, I have taken it for faster rides on the hwy, the 283 has pretty good punch for a small block Chevy V8 which is painted all-blue, (may be original colour- I don't know).

Thanks again, All.
Went for a sunny long cruise today, I may not sell this one after all, lol.
(My '61 Buick is being ignored lately though).

its great to see so many Canadian Pontiacs and other makes again; I remember years ago when early to late 60's Pontiacs were always visable out there in public; then the newer vehicles starting taking over. My '62 Paris just passed Aircare emissions yesterday so it's a relief to keep the car on the road. Have a great long weekend, y'all.
