I'm guessing the pump may have come from this engine then..................... the machine shop is Brazier's, he's been very busy, too much for a one
man operation. Hoping to have it ready for dyno in a week or two.
If the Beaumont is in the driveway on Lucinda.......in all likely hood the keys will be in the ignition.
Sorry it's not a 4 speed, however, down the road I'm thinking of a Tremec 5 speed conversion,
there's something about shifting gears, still enjoy that part of driving.
Your cousin Dale( I presume it was your cousin Dale at Sandale) was impressed with how crisp the
response was on the dyno with EFI running fuel and spark.
Heads are original cast 049 oval port for 454 core. They were rebuilt, ported and blended, 5 angle valve job
2.19 I/ 1.88 E Ferrea stainless valves , surface machined to intake manifold, they flowed very well for what we were after in a cast head.
Aluminum a lot lighter but I'm pleased the way these worked out. You're right the guys at Sandale have been great, now we're going to get this into my car.
I did a lot of researching re: fuel delivery for EFI. inline, intank, return, returnless etc., Seemed apparent that in tank was quietest and coolest most efficient way to go.
I decided to have Sandale order custom tank and intank fuel pump system from Tanks Inc., they even listed the tank for a Beaumont. Pump will be Walpro 255 LPH , so plenty
of pressure for EFI at 43 PSI. I will post pics of car running when it is all installed, EFI was expensive but I want to get into my car and drive 3000 miles trouble free, the
dash that comes with system will keep me informed on exactly what is going on as I drive. I wanted performance, reliability and driveability........ plus I expect I'll light up
my BFG TA's now and then, that's the fun part , right.
