Am I correct in assuming that true leather upholstery was only available in the US Bonneville Brougham, and not at all in Canada?  I'm speaking of 1969 specifically.

I can almost guarantee leather was not an option on any Canadian Pontiac.

1969 Pontiac Grand Prix had an optional leather interior. The GP's were made in the US but were also sold in Canada.

a friend of mine bought a new  69 GP from London Motor products blue on blue. It was a dealer in stock car and I believe it had leather. It was loaded but had but  no AC ??

I can confirm that a friend of mine has a 69 Bonneville (bought in California) and has a true leather interior. I believe the Canadian models were referred to as "vinyl leatherette" which is actually vinyl.

I heard it was called Naugahyde but hard to get now because Naugas are a endangered species.
