I posted that I needed a rim for my Impala and included photos of the valve stem area. 427carl located one and took it to his daughters place. He nominated his granddaughter to be custodian of the wheel until I picked it up.
It was about 2 weeks before I got to pick it up. I called to arranged to pick it up on my way to Bothwell.
I gave her the 20.00 that 427carl had asked for and told her that it was a tip.
I then felt that I used the wrong terminology in handing over the money and sent 427carl a note offering to pay to him the 20.00
He replied that it was a gift to his granddaughter and no further payment was necessary.
I am making a 20.00 donation to CP in honour of a Gentleman and a granddaughter.
