Don't think the 64 Rear end will work, that was last yr. for the X frame, had a 3rd. member "POT" type & likely won't fit!!! gas tank on 64 had the fuel door on left 1/4 panel & believe yours is behind the rr. lic. plate??? If so tank, won't fit. I would "thunk" than 65 to 68 Chev/ Pontiac [Cdn.] rear ends would be the same, but let others chime in here Pete

What vehicles would have a compatible differential with a 327 1967 Parisienne? Would a 1964 differential work? Would the 64 fuel tank also swap over?
let me know!
Too bad you are so far away. I have a diff. from a 67 parisienne sitting in my hoard pile. Leaning against the wall not far from the diff. there is a gas tank also.
While 65 - 70 Chevrolet B body differentials are generally the same, the differences are in the bracketry and the way the brake lines are run. 69 & 70 are the same, and I suspect 67 & 68 are the same. I know 67 & 68, the brake line junction block bolts to the diff cover. 69 & 70, the junction block is part of the flex brake line, and it bolts to a bracket which bolts to the diff cover.
Re fuel tanks, I understand 65 & 66 have their sending unit towards the forward part of the tank, accessible from the front, whereas 67 - 70 the sending unit is definately on top. Again, I'd suspect 67 & 68 are the same as a Chevrolet B body, as I know the filler neck is slightly different from a 69 & 70.
I blew the cross shaft pin in my differential. 327 with powerglide if that matters. I could use a new differential if the price is right, or just the pin to weld back in for now til I find one. Also looking for a fuel tank.
Is this the cross shaft pin you're talking about? Mine was broke in the 69 12 bolt diff and I got it out with an easy-out. I bought a handful of them on ebay if you need one.
