Not sure what that means.confuseI'm sorry I'm not a nut licker. Doesn't matter what car it is,if you spend more on a car than you can get in return it doesn't make sense, whether it be a datsun or a mazda or an old pontiac. This car is very special for sure, but when it  doesn't it add up you have to ask ones self. I'm not stirring up nothin here.Am I wrong to make a comment? FFS!Pay 100k for it.Congrats to new owner and seller.

No, not asking you to lick anything!

We've had issues with comments on value in other peoples classified, leading to arguments, leading to people leaving the site, etc etc.

So here's a refresher, just in case---

Canadian Poncho Homepage -> Canadian Poncho -> Canadian Pontiacs For Sale -> ***PLEASE READ - RULES FOR POSTING IN THE CLASSIFIED FORUMS***

Date: Nov 28, 2008 ***PLEASE READ - RULES FOR POSTING IN THE CLASSIFIED FORUMS*** Permalink Closed

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few simple rules must be followed when posting in any classified forum:

1) A price MUST be listed for items for sale

2) If you list multiple items, each item must have an individual price

3) Please ensure your ad is in the correct category

4) Sellers may "bump" an ad after 5 days

5) Members are not allowed to add their own parts/vehicle for sale to another party's thread

6) Members who have less than 10 posts in other forums MUST contact me for permission to post For Sale ads.

Potential Buyers:

All correspondence with the seller must be done via a private message

Canadian Poncho is not responsible for the honesty or integrity of buyers or sellers. Caveat Emptor applies. Insulting replies will be deleted.

Once again it's time to remind CP members of a few rules as well as showing courtesy in other peoples classified ads. This forum is a great place to sell stuff, let's keep it that way.

-Please don't post opinions of value or quality of the item someone has listed for sale. The seller has his own opinion of the quality and value in his item, that is all he needs.

-Please don't mention that you have a similar item for sale, or have recently purchased a new, better, cheaper etc. item like it recently.

-If you wish to get a comment to the seller, or have a question about the item for sale that could be mistaken as criticism, please use the private messaging feature we have here.

-Any conflicts that arise in a classified ad will be moderated. Posts that are considered to be inappropriate may be deleted by any of the moderators without warning.

I guess i will add my 2cents to this thread. Normally i wouldn't comment on this but i have been following since it was offered for sale. The seller stated in the first post that the car is "Driver Qaulity", so why would a buyer expect a 100 point show car. I have looked a 10k project cars that don't have motor ,interior or paint and wouldn't come close to being as nice as this car after spending another 20k and 500 hours of your own free labour. So i guess the value is all in how you perceive it. Does it make sense as an investment , maybe or maybe not. Having seen the car in person and looked at the album of before during and after restoration pics it is my opinion that for someone that wants a car to drive and enjoy this would be a great car. As far as the seller being solid on the price- he started out at 35k and is down to 20k- if i owned it the price would be much higher. Once this car is sold and it will be, a lot of people will be crying and say they should have bought it. If any moderators feel this post is controversial in any way please feel free to delete it. I am saving my empties.

I agree. Anyone with a brain and loves beaumont would be proud to own it. But all monkeys want a deal. This monkey too. She is a beauty. No argument there.

No problems so far. I only posted that reminder because we've had a few issues in the past with threads similar to this one. With a reminder of the etiquette, that way everyone is clear up front.

And I agree as stated, the car is beautiful...
