Darren, I don't know much about Buick, but if anything like the "A" body Chevelle & Beaumonts: - 1964-65 buckets were flat along the top...just like the earlier Corvairs had - 1966 was the introduction of the more curved and stylish strato bucket seats And for 1967, similar to '66 (with different stitch pattern) but had side button lock mechanism...for safety.
BTW - high there, I grew up between Wingham/Teeswater.
Use to bbq on boiler beach (when the rusted out ship wreck boiler was still present) & roller skate outdoors,
in Kincardine. Small world and good luck with the sale.

I'm interested, I did backs for my 65 lemans,,,,there are seats in it, but the skins do not fit? Really weird , my seats are deeper than the skins???
also, 64/ 65 has a different foot print for the seat to floor brackets, they will not bolt into a 66/67 vice versa... I am using 67 buckets , and had to make adaptor plates for now..
my upohlster 'r is pulling his hair out over my 65 seats.???
Beaumont67sd thanks for info on buckets!,i was assuming they would be the same! ..the old boiler is still on the beach,i have only been up here 20yrs and don't remember the roller skating but a friend that lived in town talks about it once in a while..

I'm thinking it was ~1973 when I skated there...on weekends it was open, most of the day & evening.
With a concession stand...sort of different skating under stars at night, and not inside a hockey arena.
It wasn't down town, more on the outskirts on the Lucknow side of Kincardine.
Now sure, but I sort of remember driving past a drive in, a few miles from the cement rink.
sorry cant get onto site from work anymore......Rabbit/Rog is first in line and we are considering them sold depending on shipping quote, will keep everyone posted!
not '66 for sure. 66-72 A body and 66-69 B body are the same except that Parisienne also offered the buckets in'70. The seat foams changed in '71 & '72 tho' on the A body
There are two upper seat frames used on strato buckets prior to 68. I believe 68-72 are the same but...
66-67 Nova, Chevelle and "Canadian Pontiacs" used a different (thinner at the top) upper spring pack.
66-67 Olds, Buick, US Pontiacs used the thicker spring packs similar to the 68 up seats.
I have heard you can use the thicker spring pack for the chevelles and Novas if you compress it and tie wrap the spring pack at the top otherwise it is MURDER to put the covers on. I Learned this the hard way...
I would have argued to the death that they were all the same until I saw it with my own eyes. Take a close look at an ORIGINAL 66-67 Nova or Chevelle seat top... they are quite thin at the top.
