1969 Beaumont Grille ends have gaps

I replace the front header with a 68 Beaumont new rad support , new drivers side Chevelle fender .

The lower grille on both sides doesn't quite match up. about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap.

Not sure why ? I am pretty sure it didn't have a gap before the repaint.

Brian

They probably were 1/4 -1/2 inch in 1969    most restorations have better clearances than new

Yes , I ordered the bracket to weld in place of the new chevelle fender. It has the holes to mount

the end grille extension piece.

Sorry it took so long to reply.
