I have a 64 Tempest / Lemans flat hood. It is beautifully solid, NO RUST, from a car that was taken off the road in 75. I bought the car in 89 and replaced the hood with a GTO hood. This hood has been in my basement way too long.

$50 and every nickel of the sale goes to Canadian Poncho.

If we could find a ride from your place to mine or close to that, I would take it off your hands. So if anybody that you know is coming west in the near future

I will take it. If you can find a buyer close to you just sell it. I would be willing to pay some travel fee's to get it close to my area. Will keep my ears open to see

if I hear of anybody going your way. I will be out that way, but not by truck, plane won't stop there either. LOL.

This hood headed west today. As a bonus, a very rough 64 GTO hood left together with it! Rick, I hope you're ok with getting a double order...

It was a bit of a whirlwind visit, sadly. I had only my lunchbreak to do this. No time off today as my coworker lost his grandpa last night and it was just me in the parts department today. Mark and I made the best of that hour though!

Heavy on the "little"!

Funny story about that one-

I bought it rough. I had a 64 Tempest convert (very solid original car) that I was building into a clone GTO. I found that hood so while I was doing some work on the car I put the hood on, just for looks. The car had no brakes because it had been off the road close to 20 years at that time. I was moving things around in the garage one day and accidentally ran the front of the car into the garage wall. The hood just folded like a limp noodle once again where it had been folded in the accident previously. It basically was a 2 mph accident but the hood folded like I was doing 30 because the weak spot had already been made by the accident. I say funny because it was a junk hood so I didn't really care! Wouldn't have been so funny to do that to a nice hood that is worth $2000+ these days...
