Window Sticker - Anyone have one for a Beaumont SD?

Here's the window sticker on our 63 Belair...........looking to do the same for our 67 Beaumont

There are several outfits now that can produce these from orig documents........

Anyone have a pic of an orig sticker or dealer invoice for a 67 Beaumont SD, especially from LMP in London

Bernie, I take it your SD came from the London dealer, when new...neat.

My original paint Beaumont's, both came from London & area.
- marina blue 1967 (283, auto. w/buckets) is also an LMP car
- while my danube blue 1966 (283, auto w/bench seat) originated from Disbrowe Motors, in St. Thomas, ON.
The LMP car had a dealer sticker on the rear bumper while the dark blue hardtop had a cast dealer emblem screwed on the rear horizontal trim piece.

Good luck in your search bjburnout.
...Larry

Yes indeed, that was very nice of Todd, re cast dealer emblem.

Bernie, would have been neat if you could have talked to the husband...if found him earlier.
- I'm sure his wife, will be very helpful & thankful their gem of a car ended up in good hands
I was only 10 y/o when the new 1967 models came out in Sept. of '66 - so I fell in love with them, in the used car market.

Also, I always thought the S/S had the nicest tail lights while the S/D had a prettier dash (with round gauges), more like the 1965 Chevelle.
- as the '67 Beaumont had the nicer dash (IMO) plus given the awesome view of the 396 domed hood, from the drivers position
- providing enough visual stimulation, to want to floor it, from stop sign after stop sign (LOL)
^^^^ S/D wins out...but I am a tad bias, like many others here !!

I remember back in the early 70's and was driving my Dad new Dodge Monaco, 318 ci 4 door, in Wingham.
- letting the tires squeal, turning around at the South end of town
Cop pulls me over & I talked him out of writing me a traffic ticket (pulled off by the Frosty Queen restaurant).
- I told him I was sorry
- just not use to the V8 as my car was a slant six Valiant & I usually had to pop the gas peddle some to get it rolling out of its own way
- policeman said, take it easy kid & I thanked him

(quick thinking on my part, no harm in trying...later that night, must of told my story 20x at the local pool hall)

I can only imagine what a spanking brand new 325 or 350 HP stylish car would of felt like, back in the day...to the original owner.
- my cousin bought a 340 Demon new, and had to replace all 4 tires after first 4 weeks

- a months pay in burnt rubber, made him finally slow down

He said "the first month of ownership was for pure fun, succeeding months driving was thinking with his wallet more".

^^^^ I thought his quote, summed up an exciting time perfectly.

Don't have that window sticker, but sure would like one for that model. Mine was originally sold in Ottawa, still have the original Tubman emblem.

I'd be interested in seeing a document like that as well... you may just need to fabricate something from your imagination, I've seen an original dealer bill of sale for 67 Beaumont, and it was really basic. Just using the basic GM emblem and going from there would be a good start...seeing anything from an acadian, opel, Beaumont from around those years would give you a good idea of the look. You can pull the accessory prices for a similar US model off of the Team Chevelle website if needed. I remember that someone had Canadian option lists and prices on here a year or two ago...

Good luck!
ak

Here's a price list of option (1967 US dollars) that I've found online:  http://www.myss396.com/ChevelleInfo/OptionCodes/1967_OptionCodes.html

I'll contact Don Earnshaw for you. I know he's the original owner of a 67SD purchased from Empress-Victoria. (he might still have that Doc)

Although it isn't for a Beaumont, it is a Canadian window sticker for a 1967 Canadian Chevelle SS396 which is pretty close. I grabbed this one off the Internet about a dozen years ago.

What is the build date for your Sport Deluxe? Is it a 736 or 738-series? It will make a difference as to what appears on the window sticker.

Canadian ones seem very rare... I guess they got tossed at the dealerships... American cars seem to be driven a lot with them still attached....    I know a guy, but hes not allowed here...

Because the rust-free collector cars usually come up from the southern states or the dry states, the reproduction suppliers that are based in the U.S. cater to the U.S. spec cars. The Canadian cars are not as well understood generally. Do a search on "Triple A Enterprises" for a decent U.S. repro window sticker. He doesn't know the Canadian cars or the forms though, but he could hum a few bars...
