I've done it a few times on mine but because it's nice and flat it never hurts. It's annoying though, because you KNOW it's there and still do it!

No T-3's? no

Just kidding, of course. Those look like halogens, a wise move.

Thought about them.  We have some in the impala but wanted to be able to see with this one.

Yes Darryl... those should look quite familiar. They look way better on the car then they did in the box.

You know, if you make it too nice you are just going to have to grit your teeth while driving it and enjoying it. Sounds good to me. Nice work! Aubrey Bruneau would be jealous... wink

Is that the Canadian Tire Ice Truck?

I had a full set of working T-3s on my 67 Chevelle. The light was kinda yellow and I didn't want to lose one to a stone (like one of the T-3s on our 70 Biscayne back in '70) so I installed a set of GE halogens and boxed up the T-3s. The halogens were a big improvement and yet weren't so large a draw as to require a relay like some of the stuff you see today.

no.. its my 48,000 mile one owner 88 Suburban I bought in Oct .

The Ice truck chassis was kept and shipped to BC, by CTC .

We built the diesel pickup with the left over cab, and a shortened  cab & 1/2 Florida frame

The Suburban is amazing . here is number on frame that matches number on radiator shield under hood .  Undercoating is Waxoyl

T-3's are great for car shows. Not great for highway driving in deer country.

There has to be a real sense of pride, and accomplishment in seeing it going back together and looking so good.
Keep it going and keep the updates coming.
