65 Custom Radio

Hello Beaumont experts, I have just spent the afternoon picking parts off a 65 custom 4 door and this radio was in the dash. I have seen the Acadian radio,s in other Beaumont, but I have never seen this one. My question is- is this a stock radio for a custom or is it  something that was thrown in there?

That would be one that has been thrown in there. I think it might be a Chevy radio. All the Beaumont ones for 65 said Acadian on them.
Is this the parts car that was just for sale in Langley?

Yes Jerel it is the one. The car was pretty rough body wise but it does have a quite a bit of useable bits.

Any stickers on the radio with a model #?  If so I can look it up in the AC Delco books.

I do not think it is a Delco but it is Canadian. Have a look.

Ya,  i am thinking a 1960's aftermarket to look similar to the original,  possibly made by motorola or another brand,  probably not a genuine "delco"

I have seen them in other 60s pontiacs before, sort of a universal replacement radio for any pontiac with that size hole.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.
