1960 Pontiac Strato Chief

Hi all. I am finally getting close to completing my 1960 Pontiac Stato Chief. I am based in Calgary, AB. It is a 4 door sedan plain jane. I just have the interior left which will be done in the new year. Here are a few pictures. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer as best as I can.

Thanks, Jake

Jake, I think you need to do us all a favour.

Do a complete story on your car and send Todd a number of pictures of it. We need to see that car featured on Canadian Poncho at the top of the page one of these months.

Wow wow wow!  That's a beautiful car!  It's nice to see the cars that most people drove in Canada back in the day, so kudos to you for doing a 4-door.

It would be nice to read the full story on it.

Jake, what a sweet looking Pontiac you got. Please do not call your 60 a plain jane because she is a beauty. B.E.A.U.T.I.F..U.L. and thank you for saving another four door and another 261 inline work horse. I love your car and we all need to know more about her. Continued good luck with that sweet 1960 time machine. Cheers. George.

Man that's nice!

Kudo's to you for bringing it back. I'm of the age now where I am really coming into a appreciation of that body.

See you soon on the Feature Car!

Oh, and welcome to the site.

Thanks for the pics. Keep us posted as the interior gets done and yes, please write it up for monthly honours.

I came from a working class family so 6 cylinder 3 on the tree, 4 door cars are what I most associate with.

WOW!!!! That's nice, had one of those in the late 60's but was a "TURKEY" 6 auto & got about 3 miles to a gallon of OIL!!!! Couldn't see in the mirror for blue smoke, think it was "DONE" when I bought it, & am sure the owner had 50 weight oil in it on test drive!!!! But yours is "sure PRETTY" Pete

Really like the condition and appearance and the colour is so right. I agree with Carl and the other guys, this should be a month feature car.
