Hey Carl, I didn't see anything wrong with your post.  Was a good illustration on how Beaumonts still seem to lag behind Chevelles in price, despite their uniqueness and rarity.

Personally, I'd rather have a 4-speed Beaumont, and I like green, but I can see how the colour might hold some people back vs a red Chevelle?  For 20K it looks like a lot of car - too bad I spent my money last year on something that's not a CP...

I wasn't trying to cause any controversy. I simply asked about the trim tag on the Beaumont (it was no where to be found) & all everybody could talk about was how great both cars were. ALL I WANTED WAS SOMEONE TO ANSWER MY QUESTION ABOUT THE COWL TAG!

Man, maybe it's just the season of New Years resolutions of quiting smoking, cafine, junk food etc, resulting in less effective communication, abrupt responses, and taking things personally... but I'm currently surrounded at work by conversations going side ways.

If anyone does have the cowl tag info, I'm guessing that they'll chime in.

I believe the following link may be to the mentioned '69 SD. If so, I'm guessing you can garner the required info by PM'ing the seller?

Sorry man, wasn't trying to cause any angst, but insulting other posters because you didn't get your answer seemed a little silly.  Oh well, there's worse things in life I guess.

As it was just mentioned in another post, if you want to know about the tag, simply contact the seller.  He would be your best source of information about the car.

I wish you good luck with it.
