Laurentian with a 261. The seller is a straight shooter ... says the front fenders are nice, the interior is "not good", rear floor pan and trunk are rusted. He says it's been sitting for a few years. They have it up on pallets, and they oil it underneath now & then. Reason for selling: he said that he wants to let it go before there is nothing left of it.

Cooper's Towing (Jason) , also has a Beaumont for sale. They have about 30 old cars.
Bang on Randy.

Looks like a good deal to me. Would love to have it myself as I like '59s, but this car needs somebody who has (A) a shop to keep it and work on it, and (B) lots of spare time to devote towards working on it.
Unfortunately I have neither (A) nor (B), but do like the car.
Would be a great CP official car, but I understand Todd's plight. Hopefully they will find the right buyer who will give it some love.

Excellent to read of someone who has the common sense to realize he's not "gonna fix it up someday", tries to preserve it, and makes an effort to get it to an enthusiast.
We all wish there were more guys like that with old cars in their yard.

The seller was very helpful while talking to me, and realistic. Not one of those vague "I dunno" sellers on KiJiJi.

Sounds like it would be a great little project to putter around with for somebody with a shop and decent skills. Like I said, it would have been a great car for me if my circumstances were a little different. Hopefully it'll be back on the road again.
Certainly looked like a good car for the money, and an honest, straight-up seller - somebody couldn't go wrong on the deal.
