I got my licence (3 tries) on a stick shift 1960 green Morris Minor    

Mom bought it for $600.00 in 1965     it was a rust free cute little car    easy on gas  

In 1965 I was a cool guy   Know why ?   I had wheels!!!!!    if you had a ride you were set...  Everyone wanted a ride   2 bucks worth of gas was 4 gallon....  

 

I post this as I received a Hemmings Notice of the 1961 Morris Minor 1000000 for sale

My late uncle Joe had one back in 1962-1965. I would never own one but they sure make sweet looking gasser's.

 It must be just as fast in reverse, maybe even quicker in reverse than going down hill in forward. There is also that LUCAS prince of darkness issue.
