I've removed the electronic ignition from my 62 Parisienne 283. Was having starter problems, kept cranking and now the light went out on my Fireball XR700. As a result, I have switched back to original style distributor with points, and I don't require the wires from the electronic ignition.
They are MSD 8mm Heli-Core Solid Suppression Ultra Temp. I know, that's an awful lot to be, but such is life :)
Were working fine. Somewhat dirty, but could be wiped off better. Wires, cap and the small black bars that fan out the wires, as seen in pictures, for $25 plus shipping from Richmond BC or pick up.
I was told these fit most V8 engines. They are angled at the cap end, and straight at the plug end. Longest is around 42 inches tip to tip. These plug into the normal sixties style caps with the round holes on top. Cap terminals still half decent inside. Slider a little rusty, but could be cleaned or changed, I suppose.

In other words ... alphabet soup. I used to call an old co-worker, "Mr. Alphabet Soup" because his last name was a huge Greek name. We had fun with it.
