64 Acadian Canso 2 dr post $6000, Oliver, BC

Not mine - haven't seen it.

I emailed and got the following: "It has rust.  It has BC registration, it runs & it has 5 bolt rims."

The "rust" thing scares me away, but might be a good starting point for someone with some autobody skills?  Looks like it's all there.

Yup,was mine, think I sold it more so around 6 years ago.Had new carpet kick panels and a hoard of other stuff.Looks like it needs a complete interior now,Did have the original rims,& caps at that time too.etc.................an azzkikn is in order here.

I did email seller, not letting hin know who I was,and the cars been through a couple hands since I sold it.

4000$ sells it he said in his email.

1 thing to note on the 1964 canso, their was no 2 door hardtop in this year. The canso of course being top of the line model only came in a post.Think it had something to do with the new Acadian (Beaumont/chevelle) coming out in 1964,and taking the name away from the then top of the line Beaumont(chevy II),& giving it the canso name.Hope that makes sence?Only 600 Canso's in 1964 I think

pm me if anyone would like any info on this car.may be able to help.

Any idea what the body was like? Doesn't look too bad in the photos.

Out of curiosity, what year did the x-bodies switch to 5 bolt wheels?

That is a nice little car, too bad someone has treated it like a field car....

1964 was the first year for 5 bolt wheels and factory V8 in Acadian...

What became of the Google map car? It's not in the yard where it was first spotted. Hope it didn't get crushed.
