Need Help! 56 Canadian Pontiac Steering column wiring!

I have a Canadian '56 Pontiac Pathfinder  I've been restoring for the last 12 years (ya I know that's a long time)  It's sooooo close to being done, but I need to finish the wiring for the steering column and need some help.

The column I put in it is a '70 Chevy truck column and I need to marry up the wiring from it to the original '56 wiring plug.  Can anyone tell me what each of the wires are for on the original Pontiac plug?  I'm a body guy not an electrical whiz, so if you can help me idenitfy what the original wires are for, I was hoping I could make it work.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Jamie
