1970 GTO Convertible


When I was about 23 I bought this car off a buddy with a rebuilt engine and rebuilt posi for $500.

Restored it and drove it until I was in my mid thirties or so. Would sure love to have it now !!

Nice car! Was it just fresh out of paint when you took the picture (no door handles)?

Where are the speakers on the front fenders?wink

Quite right. It was fresh out of the body shop. Man, that was a powerful car. It would just sit and spin circles if you wanted it to.
That was the beauty of the Holley double pumper. It always needed rebuilding, it seemed, but when it was right, it was awesome.
