Auction papers say 4 spd. Pictures clearly show only 2 pedals and an automatic console with shifter. Maybe a 4 spd automatic?

Here a question for the gurus:

shouldn't this color combo have a white headliner from the factory?   My 64 does.

I would have guessed no to that Dave but I can't prove it.

I'll see if the parts book can shed some light on that.

The only red headliner listed for a 66 Nova is on an SS. Interesting.

Also has Nova/67Acadian door panels, no SD emblem on glove box. Didn't seat belt retractors/covers come out for 67? Not picking apart just saying prefer the look of orig 66 Canso door panels.

Yup, '67 for retractor covers. The kick panels look like they've been spray painted by can. Dash is too glossy, looks like dash was painted with exterior paint, dash shouldn't be that shiney.

Ok, here goes. I'm sick so don't be hard on me if I mess this up!

-No V8 emblems, front fenders

-No "Acadian" on the hood

-No "Sport Deluxe" on the dash

- "Pontiac" licence plate!!!!! (HAD to throw that in!)

No sense discussing underhood, nothing original about that part.

In spite of those things, it's a beautiful car, I love it.

I think the accelerator pedal trim is wrong for an X body. Is that it?

I noticed that too, but not it. Also 1 paint divider a wheel seems larger than the rest.

I know, I looked at that divider about 6 times trying to figure if it's refelction or what?

So I still don't have it?

I don't know my 66's real good I guess. It's not the horn cap is it? That one is right from what I know. And it has a clock, as all SD's would have.

Is there trim missing on the glove box door, besides the missing SD emblem there?

Should have the Deluxe seat belts as in the ones I looked for, for a year! You can only see them in the pic that shows the back seat.

So you are thinking the backs are correct, right?

The front ones we know are wrong because of that newer style retractor.

Is the air conditioning unit in this Canso factory?

Were the Canso air units the same as the Nova?

Nope, back are incorrect for 66 SD model. Can't see female side of front belts so was thinking those may be correct, until I saw rear belts.

Would there not have been standard and deluxe? The Beaumonts had 2 choices, right?
