My understanding was that the deluxe seat belts were standard on all Canso SD's ? Doesn't show on my GM doc's as an option? But only know from what I have learnt on this site and am still learning.
Is the air conditioning unit in this Canso factory?
Were the Canso air units the same as the Nova?
I'm not sure they even offered it. Pretty sure not as a factory installed, and I don't think I've ever seen anything to indicate it was available as an accessory.

I am a rookie at the correct terms for these belts. I would call the red ones in the back of that Acadian the deluxe belts. Is that your thinking too Jim, or do you call the gold ones deluxe?

I was thinking the gold ones were deluxe, 4dr has the ones with the decal and have also seen Invader's and non Sd's with decal. Nova's didn't come with the gold belts I pictured. Sure they were Canadian only.

I'll have to see if I can find some interior shots of the 66 SS I bought in 1980. It had fawn interior, so I am pretty sure the belts will have been gold (and original) but I forget which style they were.

Pics from orig sales brochure, all pics show same belt, deluxe or standard? Now I'm just getting more confused. Hope I didn't spend all that time looking for the wrong belts.
