Sorry guys, it's just not going to work out this time. Daughter just had a bunch of dental work done and not sure how much my company dental insurance is going to cover. So I guess I have to play the part of the responsible adult and save my pennies in case I have to cover a bigger part of the bill.
It was a fun thought while it lasted.

hi guys checking in on this sorry to hear dan cant make it was honored to hear a guy would come from that far though,thanks! still a go here if the day is good for a good turnout,was thinkin 11 to 4ish date could still be changed to accomidate if necessary looks like ive got a job at home for the next 18 months wow no more travelling the canadian globe for a while!

Don't worry about me, I will see you on Qualicum show weekend and again at MIHRA.

Heard Qualicum is shut down for burnouts this year. Must have been some bald guy at the start of the cruise, LOL.

haha i will pm all parties my adress and directions im located 35 min south of courtenay and 40 min north of nanaimo on the old island highway is this a good date i would like to see input guys cmon burgers and brauts on me! If we dont do it on may 2nd im thinkin an alternate date would be sometime in sept as we all get busy and make plans for summer weekends

Actually another date may be better, at least for me. I may not be able to make the 2nd myself due to circumstances. A later date could look better for Rick also. We'll see what the general consensus is tho.

mee to theres not many of us left on the island......a thin bunch like my hair....however ive heard qualicum show is a go this yr and maybe drags in mcneill so theres hope for a normal life again after these 2 weeks to flatten curve

Parksville today was a little hit and miss. Didn't know if it was going to rain or snow (rain won out so far). I would be interested in possibly an outing when the weather improves. I would have to drive my non-Pontiac as the 65 Parisienne is not B.C. legal yet. Please keep this post updated for spring events. Have been in most of the PQ Father's Day Cruises for the last 15 years. Try to go to Port Alberni Drags annually. Never been to Port McNiell.

 I know how that goes. Crashed off my bicycle two weeks ago. Broke my right arm requiring surgery. No legal driving for 6 to 8 weeks. Off the pain killers now so beer drinking wth left hand no problem!
