Help decoding a 1950 4-door

Hi all. Totally new to Pontiacs and learning quickly that 90% of Google results do not apply to Canadian cars! I've attached the serial tag of 1950 4-door that's seen better days, but that I think has potential. I have the opportunity to buy it, but I want to do my homework. What does the tag tell me?

Also, how available are patch panels and such for these cars? Does the Canadian-ness of them make that a chore? Or can we borrow from the Chevy bins? I know for sure that the rocker panels under the rear doors are rusted through where the fender flares out.\

Thanks for any and all advice before I blow my tax refund on this car! ;)

The chevy lines are almost identical if you need pieces, many donor cars can be found for cheap across Canada. Remember when these cars were made GM was king these were pumped out and they were the car for the common man. Good luck.

Well, I've decided to pass on this particular vehicle -- just too much for me to take on as a first project. If anyone else is interested, the car is listed on Kijiji, just outside Cambridge, Ontario. www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/cambridge/1950-pontiac-running-driving-all-original-3000-00-o-b-o/1056847139
