Due to its rarity, I could see asking half that, but in reality rarity doesn't always equate to high price. I don't know what the actual value would be for that car.
4 speed 73 GTO's are pretty darn rare too and rarely break into 5 digits, the south of the border set goes koo koo for the Can Am of similar vintage and they go from $15 to 20K. Just a couple of comparisons.
It amazing what people think their cars are worth, we have a guy in our neighbourhood we call Charger Guy, he's has a 75 400 Charger up on axle stands for 25 years and he tells us he's going to get $25,000 for it.
The Buick Stage 1 455 managed to keep horsepower & torque on tap. A 1973 or 74 could run with a 71 or 72. Not all carmakers could make that claim. I think that a Century Gran Sport with a Stage 1 is the ultimate musclecar version of the G-3 A-body GM cars.
