Car Currently has a Camaro front clip, Im Cutting that off and doing new rails from the front mounts forwards. M2 front with Air and rears getting a 4 link and Air as well. Going for a Restomod Custom look on 15" Supreme style wheels. Pretty much all there minus Drive train and interior seats. But I've got a 5.3/4l60e that will be going in. Trying to track some seats and a rear bumper down.

Cool project!

If I may ask a dumb question, what is an "M2" front?

Looking forward to seeing your progress posts in the future!

I know that car.

I didn't know John had it now. (I recognize his pickup in the picture!) It is my nephew's abandoned project.

Welcome here. Keep an eye open in the lounge and when you see we (Manitoba guys) are going for a coffee, please join us.

Ah.. of course.  Thanks!  I didn't know you could still find Mustang II front ends.

Dumb question #2: What would be the advantage of a Mustang II vs Camaro fronts?

Cool project and yes, another Canadian Pontiac to be back on the road!

Most of the hot rods have a Mustang II front end.

Nice small steering gear in front of the engine so you have a lot of space for headers  .... better and smaller suspension great Geometry.... LOTS of aftermarket parts ... and you have the space to put wichever engine you can dream of  .

I have the same car in the Catalina two door hardtop.  Mine has a mid 70's TransAm clip.  I have the Cadillac 500 running and will be installing it with the matching turbo 400.  I'm looking at doing about the same to mine as you.  I recently scored a split back bench seat from a 52 BelAir.  Mine has lots more trim than yours and it is all there.  Got the light up hood ornament also.  I plan to use a 8.8 rear with disc on all four wheels.  I don't have a front glass so I may go with the one piece windshield.  I have some caddy 5x5 steel wheels and if I can easily change the bolt pattern I will run them with wide whites.

Thanks for the info!  I remember guys using them years ago but didn't think they were still so popular.
