Not that it has anything to do with your sale but I remember going to Ross Wemp on Lakeshore Blvd. with my buddy when he purchased a 1966 Cutlass. He had to pickup the car at the new location on Rexdale Blvd. a couple of days later. Walked through the new place before it was totally occupied.
Ross Wemp's showroom was where the Maple Leaf House is now. You can see a shop door on the side of the building. After Wemp's moved out, Courtesy Chev moved in. The Subway store on the other corner is where Courtesy's parts department used to be. I remember going in there to help count the yearly inventory a couple of times.
