They both go to a small screw hole in the side of the brake/dash suport, close to where the brake pedal pivot goes thru the support.

Found the bolt to connect the ground wires. Thanks!

I still don't know where the one black cut wire came from?

Could it be from the ashtray compartment which I don't have?

Looks about the right length.

No, the wire for that should be gray. It's pretty safe to say if it's all black with no stripe that it's a ground wire at any rate.

Now that I think about it, the Beaumonts don't even have a wire for an ash tray light do they?

Ok new question. Should there be one or two ground wires attached to that bolt?

Sorry, someone with a Beaumont will have to look to verify that one but I don't know that it matters how many are under there if that is what you mean.

Or are you trying to determine if there's some that should be under it that you aren't seeing?

If you hook things up wrong, you may have to get a bottle of this-

Can anyone confirm if one of those ground wires is the black ground wire from the radio speaker plug?

That's my assumption at this present point!

You are fine grounding the black speaker wire anywhere, so not to worry if you can't figure out if that one is correct. Unless of course you are doing an absolute every nut and bolt correct restoration.

IMAG1245.jpgI traced mine, the one is a ground jumper lead to temperature light. The other, the 4"as you say, disappears into the main wiring harness, it appears that if that wire was snipped at the harness its remainder would be that 4-5" wire. I bet if you unwrapped your harness end you'll find that snipped black wire. Cheers

You're most welcome, hope those are the black wires you're talking about. Any more questions or concerns just ask
