My Dad just bought a 80 Caddy and the heater- air blower blew a fuse on the way home with it.Got it to a garage the next day to change the compressor clutch and top it off with some new R134A.After that the blower motor would not come on.Checked the fuse and it is good.If I hot wire the motor it works but it will not run from the control inside the car.Anyone ?

I am just guessing at how that system works but I assume there will be a resistor for the blower speeds. Check for power at it, also there is likely a blower relay as well to check for power.
No speeds work at all? Sometimes if you just have high speed the resistor or relay is the culprit on at least some systems if I remember right.
