A Short Story To Share

I shared this with another forum last year, so thought I should share it with CP.

In the late fifties my Dad went down to California and ended up visiting Phil Weiand. Phil took the old man for a ride in his favourite sleeper of the day. It seems he used to love to let the young pups laugh at his old car, and then leave them in the dust. I think it was a big Buick or Olds engine in this car.

Anyone care to guess what the car is?

Hope you liked the story. I kept it short :)

I was told it was a 34 Ford, and that's about all I know of cars from that era !

Wouldn't that be fun to own today?

Cool car.
I read an article a few years back about Phil in HMM. Here is a link,

SAY WHY - AND used to be cast into his parts so people would pronounce his name correctly.
Nice story Dave.

Thanks
