Go to local fastener supply in Halton Hills area and buy them grade 8 bolts (Most car show judges will not pull the transmission to check the part number)

Jerry, are you sure those are the right ones? That looks like the part number for the later ones where the converter has the threaded nut on the converter. I am guessing the powerglide uses the bolt and nut, that stubby little fine thread bolt.
If that is what it uses, I am sure I have a set here, just let me know and I'll get them off to you in the mail.

I am looking for torque converter bolts 1964 powerglide. Or anyone know the size.? I would prefer the correct ones but need to get things done.
Here's the part# I used to keep and use, 3987930, they are discontinued but here are some Ontario Dealers that have some left.

You're Right - Me Bad, did it out of memory, they show them as 3/8 - 24 x 9/16 in the parts catalog.
