454/turbo 400/12 bolt posi. Maybe 5000 miles on rebuilt big block. 30 over. Lots of good Parts, headers, dual exhaust, air gap intake 750 edelbrock carb, comp cam, heavy duty push rods and roller tip rockers. It's a driver and lots of fun.
'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
Looks like a newer box on it because of the gas cap flap (added for 1978 models). Mirrors are newer as well, like 1979+ style. It appears to be a nice truck. Do you happen to know the gear ratio? 3.07, 3.40, or 3.73? Maybe even 2.76 since they started to offer it for economy back around that time.

When I bought my 1978 Chev 4x4, the original 8 ft. box floor & channels shot, as well as the rockers/inners & windshield frame.
So I used as much 1981-87 stuff, as I could...apparently these years had some galvanized panels, under the factory primer & paint.
- '73-80 the gas cap is on the passenger side (PITA) & early years had round gas cap...the later square gas cap doors, look nicer
- swapped out a new box (takeoff) with 81-87 gas tank brackets
- made new gas tank straps, out of sheared stainless steel
- found a '86 Suburban that was driven from Mexico & later T-boned...the salvaged front cowl, donated the GM windshield panel
- ^^ windshield wiper motors different / some years mount with 2 bolts, others with 3...so the auto wrecker panel was modified
I like the 1973-80 truck style, with some tasteful 1981-87 improvements...nice 1976 gmc high sierra listed / not surprised it sold quick.
