I love reference material. The problem is they take up so much physical space.

Next thing you know you will want a 59 Biscayne post. Or a Canada-only Bel Air 2-door hardtop.

Very cool literature. I still love to thumb through my books. I only wish I'd kept more of them.

I'm surprised none of the guys have tried to pry that 59 Chev 348 out of your Impala for their Ponchos !!
Wouldn't you be just as happy with a 350 ?

I would've thought to just throw a floor shifter in the car and keep the 3 speed. Obviously, I thought wrong :)

Lulu Island is just ducky, as long as you don't need to park anywhere. Went to the Bodhi Meditation Center last night, and had to beg the guy at Morgan Furniture to let me park the 442 in his lot. What's the world coming to?

At least the rain washed some of the dirt off the car.

Cool....I didn't realize that you were driving it.....

Have you been downtown...to see the "white trash" totem pole yet?

 Don't knock it...until you've tried it....biggrin

There is prolly a "salon" about a mile or so south east of you...on the Ho Chi Min trail...that charges ALOT of $$$ for that particular treatment....

 OK...back to Totem Pole....

Pics are REAL...NOT photo shopped....errected in April this year in front of Science World...

Note that the "domestic"....is on the TOP.....hope it's leaking ATF all over the seats in the BMW....

There is some slight  HOPE for Vancouver, after all....

I don't know what to say, Mobo. Someone had way too much time on their hands !!

On another note, gotta find me some 15 x 8 mags with 3 inch offset for the 442. It's looking pretty mild with the skinny tires and the tail end up so high. Needs some beefy stuff under it. How's your warehouse? Mobo's used Tire and Mag Emporium !

Well....there is actually 2.......The one that Honest Dave is referring to is a 59 Impala 2dr.ht.....from California...348...3 on the tree......original paint....never been in a body shop.....

The "rare one" is an Oshawa built 59 Nomad....which is bascially an Impala wagon....the heaviest and most expensive 59 Chevrolet they sold...

Oshawa docs tell me that just over 200 were built......and lists the engine #...which is stamped on the s/n tag and engine block...

US built vehicles are NOT documented for specific models.....
