What material is it made out of? You could probably fabricate one out of the appropriate material.

Let me double check. I had a set but I think I sold them.
I checked, me no got. Sold them earlier in the year to someone on here looking for a set.
Regarding the set I had, I could have sworn I got them off an early 70's car, but the fellow I sold them to needed them for his 69 Bonneville convertible. I found the photo of them, and by looking at the screw hole locations, they look like they differ from yours.

cutting a roof off a four door is NOT a convertible.....
65 Parisienne convertible.one of 49 built for RHD export market,402BBC, T400, 2500 stally, posi rear, upgraded brakes with front discs, FUEL FAST efi custom built by me.
my 69 442 had a pair on the drivers door jamb. Pretty sure the were made of brass ?? Funny; but I saw other Cutlass convertibles that didn't have any ??
Solid Teflon would be a great material to make these out of.

Yes they were/are brass. Lots of times a good indication that the doors were replaced on a convert is the absence of the wedges missing and no holes in the door for them. I just noticed awhile ago that my convert was missing the wedge on the drivers door And the holes are there for it.
