i  ordered  a new set  of  key  barrels  for  the  doors and trunk  and  the glove box

i want to change  the  barrel on the glove box door  , in order to  pull it  out  there is  a little  plate  or  flange   that  holds  the  lock  on the  glove box  door

it  does seem  fragile so  i dont  want  to  break any thing  , is there a  trick  to  get it  out  so  i can  get the  barrel  in  the  lock  ??
