Washer Bottle

Now anyone know if this is the correct washer bottle for my 65? Original one broke in the cold, damn.

Yup that's the correct repop, the originals are dated on bottom.

I'm not an expert on these, but know each year is slightly different. Not sure whether it's the label, the cap or both.   How original looking do you need it?

The labels are different year to year. They don't repop a label for my year (at least, I've never seen one that is identical to my original).

That is correct, I have the original but no label anymore. What I need now is a new washer bottle as the plastic is now brittle and has cracked in a million places.

I should add this to the library

I found a wrecked 1962 chevy biscayne in an auto wrecker about 15 years ago,  smashed hard but only about 10,000 original miles.  still had the GM CANADA bottle decal.  I very carefully removed it and then scanned it on the computer.  Then spent about 8 hours editing it!  Not sure if it is correct for all canadian cars up to 1966, but its the closest thing i have found.

It does have a GM part # on it so maybe carl could research it.

If anyone has means of reproducing a totally waterproof decal from this, let me know, i am sure lots of guys would want one.

What year is on the bottom Pontiac? Cool looking label guru, nice restoration of it. That's a early label. I believe by 64 they didn't look like that anymore.

Osborne Reproductions down in Georgia has a few variations on that label. Some coloured, some black and white.

Quite possibly, but I can't say for certain. They do have the 283 Pontiac valve cover decals and other unique Cdn stuff.

Although this information is Corvair-specific, they have done some research into the GM washer bottles that can make some interesting learnin.
