I found a low-mileage survivor 1975 Impala Sport Sedan with really low miles for sale in the Winnipeg Kijiji. I still have the 1975 Chevrolet brochure that the salesman at Wills Motors, Caledonia sent me at the end of September 1974. In it is the spitting image of the car for sale in Winnipeg, MB. Medium Orange metallic with black vinyl roof cover, Sandstone herringbone pattern cloth interior with optional 50/50 divided front seat (Impala offered in 1975 only). Maybe I am getting old, but I love this thing.
I saw a 76 Grand LeMans on a farm Wednesday that is identical to one my Dad had. I'm going to have to stop next time past to see if it is his. These old images stick in our heads Cam, I can still see in my head the brochure cars of my favourite models from as far back as about 1961
I love these 1971 to 1976 full size Chevy's as well but of course i have been around one, since my dad bought one in 1974. As far as i am concerned i think these solid and reliable cars are highly underrated. I love mine and have every intention of keeping it in the family.
