Opinions needed for stripe color

image.jpgI like the SS stripe on the side & it also mimics the body side moulding this car originally came with.

this is a sample trial of what it could look like with charcoal metallic (some spare pinstripes I had kicking around).

since my interior is Parchment (white) and my top is black what colors could look best Against the dark red.

I would probably go with a thicker center though.

I was thinking light metallic silver, white to go with the interior or charcoal metallic to go with the top?

any opinions would be appreciated

thx

White it is, to go with the interior

i can always take it off if it's too much.

Its about 25.00 worth of pinstripe, enough to do the car 3 times.

Thx

Why not rocker stripes (SD style)? I'm with Dave ... NO STRIPES at that body line.

I can only do the SD 396 stripes if I remove the 427 Side emblems.
Which I'm not willing to do , unless I build a 69 Hardtop Cheetah Copy

my 68 sd cheetah has sd 427 0n the stripe instead of the sd 396 in the stripe, i guess it was easy to just change the numbers, there was a green 68 cheetah around vancouver years ago it said sd 427 in the stripe as well, i have only seen 2 sd 427 68 cheetahs

Do you know where ? Or have pictures of the 68's ?
I have never heard anyone even talk about 68 or 69
Cheetahs!
It would be nice to know more about the later last Cheetahs .
Maybe there is a forums on this site somewhere?
Thx for the info .
I do see the Cheetah at mission drags in 1969 has
The fender emblem only.
Maybe the ambassador car club made it up(not Conroy Pontiac) ?
