Bothwell, Ontario Old Auto's Newspaper Annual Car Show. Saturday August 8, 2015.

I took in one of the best shows and swap meets of the year in Ontario with my 57 Pontiac. The 24th annual Bothwell (Old Auto's Newspaper) Car show and it was great as per usual. A really good swap meet, countless fine looking iron and many good folks to talk cars to. It was amazing just how many Pontiac's were there. I took over 200 photos but i narrowed it down to these here. It was a bit of drive and sometimes the weather was not that great but i am glad i went. Check out the rides. Cheers. George

Great stuff George. That would be a $160 fuel tab for me to go and return in the 454.

Anyone know the red 1960 Chevy wagon??

I brought one just like it back from Washington about 1980, 348 Auto, Turbo Glide shift indicator but converted to Power Glide.

It had the coolest thing I've ever seen, a plate on the cargo floor that popped up to reveal a Positraction warning label.

Thanks
Randy

Thanks for sharing your photos, George. Like me, it appears that you have eclectic tastes. There were a lot of nice old iron, stockers, rods, customs, trucks etc. Some beautiful Pontiacs & Cadillacs, Lincolns, Chryslers, even a Clipper! That gray Jag 3.8 Saloon looks exactly like the car a friend's father owned until he traded it in on a new 73 Challenger. Same colour and everything (except for the redlines).

George, the blue 64 GP is the one mentioned in an earlier thread with the 'Slim Jim'. Owner is an ex GM mechanic from Toronto

and partner of Frank Elliot in 60's Super Stock racing.
