bolt pattern measurements from lug to lug

2. Use the distance between the center of one bolt hole to the center of the bolt hole adjacent to it:

  • If the distance is:
    • 2-5/8" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2
    • 2-3/4" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4
    • 3" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 5
    • 3-1/4" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2

These look like 5 x 4-3/4" as the measurement from the outside edge of one hole to the center of an opposite hole is 4-3/4".  15" x 7" wide, 5 x 4-3/4" bolt pattern.

Bolt pattern or bolt circle is the diameter of an imaginary circle formed by the centers of the wheel lugs.
