Is he looking for a Chevy Impala console for a Canadian Pontiac, or a Pontiac console for a US car? Does he want woodgrain or the bare metal look? I think 66 and 67 Impala consoles are very similar, not sure of the differences.
The consoles are identical Chevy to Pontiac. However, the Pontiac uses woodgrain as shown, which is unique to Caprice. Also, the Caprice console has an emblem on the top rear and I am assuming if you remove the emblem there is a hole. As stated, tough find and expensive.

While the Canadian Pontiac's use Chevy consoles, I'm sure the US Pontiac's used a different console. What model car does he have?
He says he wants it for a Cdn Pontiac will buy a Impala just need a console all offered will be considered I think he should just buy a old car from the west with console in it
