I am in need of the rear, left (driver's side) quarter panel from behind the rear wheel complete to the back including tail-light section for my 1954 Pontiac Sedan Delivery. One from a 1953 will also work, but I can also adapt pretty much any 1953 or 1954 Pontiac or Chev quarter panel as long as it has the rear tail-light complete. I am way up in the boonies along the Alaska Highway in northern BC so the cheaper I can get it will of course compensate for the shipping charges it'll cost me. Any leads would also be appreciated. I've owned and found parts for two '55s, a '56 and a '57 poncho over the years and I must say this one is really presenting me with a little difficulty. I've found a complete quarter panel in Arizona but they wanted $560 US for it and another $650 US to ship it. I would really like to find one at home here in Canada to hopefully save me some money and I would prefer to only buy the piece behind the rear wheel but will take a complete one non-the-less.
Thanks to everyone...

Oh yeah...I've just moved the car into my shop and have started to clean up the junk in it as I take it apart. I'll be posting my progress here...

As a fellow SD owner I can relate to the challenges of finding some of the rarer items! At least you don't need a rear door!!
One option is to buy the patch panel that National Chevy Association sells (catalogue pg. # 160, part #683L) and at least have the lower section to build on. I'm not sure though if sedan/ sedan delivery are the same wheel well to bumper dimension. Also be careful as US Pontiac SD's may have different taillights. My '50 does.

I managed to find a nice quarter panel off of a '53 4 door. It's basically the same as what is on my sedan delivery and I only have to make a few minor changes to have it work for me. I'll have to change the position of the filler cap for the gas and add some sheet metal between the tail light and the rear door (which of course is missing in the car) but these are easily doable. Thank you everybody for your information and leads.
Now that I've got the new shop all set up, found the parts I need (hopefully after sandblasting I'll find I don't need any more body parts), bought a 283 with a Holley 4 barrel to drop into it, acquired some new tools and have assembled my shop hoist and rotisserie I'm ready to start the disassembly in earnest. I'll post pictures as I'm working on the beast...
Oh, did I say that I was seriously considering doing her as a Rat Rod? At least I'll do her up to the point where she will be able to be upgraded with paint, graphics and more chrome at a later date when I get tired of the Rat Rod look...
